Well thats just great for everyone that has G4TeachTV. Now for the US side, well it just goes to show you that they do not care about the anime fans over here. They are to busy running reruns of shows that no one cares about. *couphCHEATERScouph*
If anything is good on the show it might be just Attack of the Show, only becuse the female host is the hottest girl on the entire network.

Requiem's a good series. It's part of why I didn't think twice over pre-buying Ayakashi--Geneon usually delivered good horror titles.

I'm excited about Black Lagoon because I 'd love to hear how the dub sounds. I'm also interested in Requiem, but the first Nana movie comes on Omni2 at the same time and I wanna watch that, too... hoo boy. Wish I had a Tivo or something (or at least a working VCR)... Confused

Amen my friend, preach the gospel!

Why is the US side of G4 anti-anime while the Canadian side seems to love it? Personally, I feel the Geneon situation here might have been partially caused by the end of Anime Unleashed. They showed a number of Geneon titles on there like Lain, ROD the TV, and others. It's far from being the only factor in Geneon becoming toast, but I think it played a role.

At least Canadians can now tune in and marvel at Revy's lethal talents. Black Lagoon is a very enjoyable series. (Just buy the DVDs too folks. You'll want them anyway, cause the show's great, but buying them will only increase the probability of getting the second season.)

Yet more reasons to move to Canada. Evil or Very Mad

Unless the Canadian dub is different from the US version or your broadcast standards are more lax than ours, all you Canadian viewers expect some heavy edits on Black Lagoon for all the foul language.

They are. Black Lagoon will probably run uncut.

Its moments like these I feel proud to be Canadian.

I was wondering what they would do when Lain and Paranoia Agent ended. I'm glad to see they're immediately filling the slots with new Anime. I would be a little more excited if I hadn't just recently ordered all of the Black Lagoon DVDs though. Also, I had never even heard of the other one, but it sounds good too.

What the hell's G4 doing ? They need to get some anime over here in the US. I could care less for Code monkeys,Cops, cheaters or Ninja warrior.

I still the remember the old days when they aired RaXepHon, Silent Mobius, Last Exile and Lain.

Thank God [AS] is showing Death Note on Saturday.

Well, if G4 Canada allows the F-bomb or the C-bomb on regular air waves then it'll air fine but it would get heavily bleeped out here in the US due to the frequent extensive and sometimes rather imaginitive cursing. What takes place in the initial arc of Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage which has some really disturbing material could be problem though. Not sure if they got both seasons or not to air over there though. Minor:spoiler[It involves two very screwed up, gender confused, incestial twins masacuring members of the Russian Mafia as well as kiddy snuff porn.] If you only get 1-12 you've seen all of Black Lagoon but if they tack on 13-24 as well, that's The Second Barrage.

I also miss seeing anime on G4, but hey, Ninja Warrior is great fun. Ninja Warrior and AOTS are about the only things I watch on G4 anymore. I saw a rumor that an American version of Ninja is in development. Could be neat.

I guess the Canadian and American versions of G4 are aiming at different segments of the young-adult market, and the American channel's target group must think anime is wierd geek stuff that no sane person would watch. (^_*)

Heh... This is good news. Now there's a good chance the dub can be uploaded to streaming sites. Smile

I'm confused.... Why would they start showing a series from a company that has ceased production?

Or did Geneon get all of Black Lagoon released?

Geneon's released all of Black Lagoon (12 episodes on 3 discs), however, Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage's first volume was supposed to release after the date in which Geneon ceased production so it's going to be a long time until it's released if at all given the companies' issues that it needs to work out.
