50% off at one comic shop, 40% off at the other. Most of the manga from the half off one, but I also got the new Zelda: Arts & Artifacts book 40% off at the other one. That thing is even bigger than the Hyrule Historia, I fear if I were to drop it on my cat, I would seriously injure her, lol. And no, I don't have a Switch *yet* but soon, soon. Yes, I'm mostly buying it for Zelda (since I don't already have a Wii U, I can't go that route to play the new one).

Akame ga Kill 9
Assassination Classroom 14
Franken Fran 7/8
Re: Monster 2
So Cute, It Hurts!! 12
Tegami Bachi 20 (final)
Ten Count 3
Water Dragon's Bride 1
Yona of the Dawn 4, 5

Got some things very unexpectedly early this time! And they were behind on some other things, so I got Yona 4 and 5 together. I also had to exchange the Ancient Magus' Bride 6 I had gotten through Target because I needed that damn booklet! And by "exchange", I mean "buy the correct one at B&N and return the other one" (luckily, they had the same ISBN, so it was pretty easy). It was obviously mostly Viz this time at my comic shop (and some Seven Seas today as well), the thing they seem to be the worst on getting in timely is Kodansha. Yen can also be hit or miss for getting in timely (it seems to be the big omnibuses they are weird about getting in).
And sometimes, it's nice to just get the final volume at long last of a series that's fairly long (it's also the last vol of Franken Fran, but they didn't get 3/4 or 5/6 in, so for me, the hunt will continue a bit longer). To think that, one day, we may get to the finale of One Piece even *lol*

By some degree of artifice, were you able to argue that your total discount should be 80%?

As for your other plans, it seems as if the idle time of most people I know is now occupied by either the playing or the pursuit of the new Zelda game. Certainly, it seems fine and unobjectionable, but I don't exactly fathom how so many players would grow as entranced by it as they are.

I got the Nichijou Bluray/DVD and the Utena manga box set from Rightstuf today.

After my first two experiences with trying to put the Utena books back in their box, I finally said, "screw it" and put the books directly on the shelf next to the empty box. They really didn't think that one through at all.
Considering that I'm planning/hoping to get the Utena manga set sometime soon (possibly for my birthday), knowing that it's a pain to put back into their box disheartens me a bit. x.x Is the box at least of some durable construction, like how Tokyopop had for some of their box manga sets?

The box is nice and durable, but the fit is way too tight. I have fingernail marks on one of the volumes' spines from trying to get it out.

@BodaciousSpacePirate

If the box is that tight new then it will be useless later. Books do tend to expand a bit when read. How much depends on how flat you force the book while reading. Opening a paperback to lay completely flat will crease the spine and expand the pages greatly.

Picked up from the comic shop this week:
Manga:
Anonymous Noise volume 1
Everyones Getting Married volume 4
Hana & Hina After School volume 1
Interviews With Monster Girls volume 3
Kimi Ni Todoke volume 26
Natsume's Book of Friends volume 20
Nichijou volume 7
Skip Beat volume 38

Light day at the comic shop. Usually, if manga is light, I may purchase more American comics instead, and I did indeed today because were finally getting snow this week lol.

A few debut screenings over here were marred by incorrectly advertised audio languages. I like to think the same mishap won't occur, but you are wise to have foreseen the possibility.
