The girls were nice but the anime itself was terrible.

The anime show must have fared terribly for Kadokawa to abruptly abandon the card game of Ange Vierge. A bit of a shame, since the characters' appearances look great. Sad

So Bath Vierge didn't manage to sell the card game. Can't say I'm surprised.

I enjoyed the anime since it had rather cute character designs and a rather stellar voice cast. But admittedly the anime did not buy me into playing the TCG, and i think the problem lies in there, while i understand there are rather grownup people "playing" TCGs like Weiss Schwarz, Magik, or even yugioh, i feel they are the collector type than actually building deck compositions. Maybe the franchise would've had better success as changing to a different game with card collecting elements on mobile or something. Kinda like how Love live school idol festival on mobile is a rhythm game with card collecting elements.

Sad in a way. The characters were pretty nice. But the anime sucked giant hairy sweaty balls. Here's a free tip from me: If you're not going to include nudity in your anime that's perfectly fine. However don't frame and shoot your anime as if it's going to be uncensored on the Bluray because that will piss off the Japanese fans more then you can imagine. Yeah, that actually happened.

There's a mobile game.
It was doing well a few years ago. Dunno how it's now.

This is what happens when you make a card game anime with no card game shown in the anime. It's incompetent marketing and anime design.

Not true. Rage of Bahamut didn't show a single card from the game.

i have no interest in TCGs myself, but considering the large amount of games in existence, I thought it was practically a license to print money for the companies, since it can't be that expensive to produce.
