@ Animegomaniac - why do you consider $54 for the LE combo to be a "ridiculous" mass market price? Seems very much in line, to me. Are you sure you haven't made a mistake and think you are in an AoA or PonyCan USA thread?

The MSRP for each version is remarkably lower compared to the usual 64.99/69.99 and up now for Sentai and Funimation and that's for the "limited edition" combo pack. It's the 49.99 BD vanilla pack and 39.99 DVD pack that you should find on store shelves at BB at an even lower selling price.

The 49.99 set is exactly the same product Section 23 would mark at 69.99... that's really cheap for what they could do for this title. They're clearly aiming to sell this one. Kind of refreshing compared to AoA's basic "Print x copies, sell x copies" strategy. If AoA had this title, the vanilla edition would have been split over three releases with an MSRP of a hundred... meaningless really since it's only sold directly... with a selling point of seventy each.

Right now, the LE set is being sold at 17% off at DD so you could combine it with one of their regular coupon offers for a total of 32% off for a total of 40.79. The DVD would be 27 which puts it on at with a Funimation sub only release... except that one would have to be on sale at 50% off.

So, yeah, cheap though I love how that Rightstuff's page has a header of "We take 25% off all preorders" on a page where they're only taking off 10% on a preorder. Still, it's better than Amazon where they take a whooping 0% off all three One Punch Man editions.

Oh yeah, the price Rightstuf should be offering the One Punch Man LE at is 44.99. I don't know if they'll ever correct it or explain it. I don't trust them that much these days...

Ah, I get you. I thought you might have been indicating the price was too high, but ... unusually ... you were commenting on it being too low. That's the kind of complaint I'd love to be able to lodge against more releases. Wink

Excellent! I have very much been looking forward to getting the second season of K! Shame it doesn't appear to be an LE though, I could understand not doing that for a movie, but it seems a shame to not do it for a TV show, especially when you did it for the first season Rolling Eyes

Just noticed the post for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure LE - woo-hoo! Glad I didn't spring for the DVD version of the show that came out earlier (not by Viz).

Been a lil out of the loop for a while, but is there any word on more Hunter X Hunter blu rays? Did they stop doing them? Haven't seen news of a 3rd volume In awhile.

The dvdplanet HxH set 3... is the 4 disc listing a typo, or are they really doubling the episode counts? It's something they needed to do from the beginning tbh, though the price seems a bit low if that's the case. Certainly would explain why it took twice as long to come out though.
