Awesome coverage on the event. Due to language issues, Major Japanese critics like Ryusuke Hirakawa and Mashahiro Haraguchi are pretty much unknown in the West.

Having been to Inbetweener Animator Workshop at Anime Japan 2017, I really appreciate educational experience on making Anime.

If you're planning to stay in Japan for long duration, then I hope that you get to go to all kinds of anime events which foreigner like myself only can dream of. (and have ANN to foot the bills)
