Aww, when I first saw the headline I was kinda hoping that Kanon was making it to both there own network and SciFi. Allowing ADV to break into the mainstream TV market. As it stands now, Manga will be running out of shows to air. But that thought only lasted a second.
Nevertheless I have been interested in seeing Tactics, but not enough to really go out and buy a DVD. So I am glad that will be on TV.
Besides NGE, what was the last anime ADV had on a mainstream channel? |

Does this mean we will finally be able to see the last 5 episodes dubbed? As Manga Entertainment has yet to release the last DVD. Might be staying up late on mondays just to finish it. Bah! |

Yaaaaay! Kanon on Anime Network and Tactics on Sci-Fi! I didn't even know SciFi even showed anime! It's a shame I can't stay up after 9:00 PM. Oh well! I have the DVDs so no need to worry! I only have two DVDs though. Hehe! |

They have this amazing new invention called a VCR which allows you to record shows while you sleep. That's what I do.

| So Sci-Fi is opting to go the rerun route with Noein? I wonder if it netted them some good ratings, or if they just don't have anything better to air. |

Tactics is a cute show if you are into a bit of japanese mythology and do not mind the ocassional sentimental moments between the 2 main male characters. The dub isn't all that bad but it isn't all that good either. Blake Shepard does an ok job at Kentarou (a little too whiney IMO) but Chris Patten is wonderful as Haruka. Vic Mignogna is really good as Sugino IMO as well.
It isn't for everyone though. The art is very cutesy as it was created by the same women who did Mythical Detective Loki so do not expect anything to dark or brooding. I feel it is a very fluffy show with good messages. |

I really enjoyed Tactics better than Shounen Onmyouji which resembles it. I actually like the interaction of the main character and Yoko his little demon friend over Haruka, although there are pleanty of likable characters in the series. I didn't listen to the English track, but the subtitles are actually dubtitles which I keep on since it's amusing to see how the dialog is changed in the translation with both scripts being presented. |

I realized they were dubtitles the moment I starting listening in japanese and watching the dubtitles. It just didn't flow right for proper subtitles. I switched to the english after that and didn't look back. When the last dvd comes out in february (i think that is the last they finally set), I may force myself to listen only to the japanese and maybe learn a thing or 2 because my japanese is crap.
I haven't seen Shounen Onmyyouji, and was going to pick it up but I'm glad since Geneon went out after 2 discs. Is it that similar to Tactics? |

| You MUST see Shounen Onmyouji! IT IS THE BEST SHOW EVER!!! Oh! Since the boxed set is going to be released in February 2008, does that mean volume 5 will also come out (singularly, without the box) as well? |
