Yay , it's seems to be a lot of Gurren-lagann good news lately , so Gainax ...oh Please Gainax , can we have a sequel now ?

Why would you want Gainax to risk ruining something amazing?

Yes I do realize the bet is risqué , But i want to see ...a Garlock Saga ...as in spoiler[" Give us what you promised us in episode 1 Anime hyper " ]

I'd rather have an OVA with sidestories on minor characters or a spin-off series/OVA based on the drama CD than a sequel. Cool

iirc, Gainax's original producer (Takami Akai, who planned the project from ground up in 2002) wanted Gurren-Lagann to span two to three seasons, depending on the success of the initial series. However, it's unclear whether those plans still exist.

Well, the series had 3 distinct story arcs, so I think he finished the whole series the way he intended.

I don't see where else the story has to go.

there's a new Gurren Lagann project coming in 2009. no details have been released yet though.
