Kubikuri Cycle/Beheading Cycle is the first novel in the series; the series is called the Zaregoto series.
One of the best things I've read in Japanese, and Del Rey bringing it out here is front page news. |

I hope Del Rey keeps the original xxxHOLIC novel cover. *shallow* I can't help it; it's a gorgeous cover!

| CURSES! I had finally splurged and ordered the first two volumes of Gankutsuou from Japan... well, I can't complain, it'd be nice to know wtf is happening in them. The manga... is very... very... different from teh anime. X-x |

| So the xxxHolic novel will be hardcover? I'd love to see hardcover volumes of xxxHolic and/or Tsubasa, as are released in limited pressings in Japan, hopefully this may pave the way, though it's unlikely since it's a different media. |

I'm assuming that if the first volume of the Zaregoto series does well then they'll release the rest. (This is the stance most of the manga companies are already taking, after all. It's expensive to license these things and they can't keep putting them out if they're going to be losing money on them in the long run.) So if you like the series, buy it and support it!
