| Nobody could find a picture of Oshii smiling? He looks utterly miserable in that one in the article, and it's hard to imagine the guy who helped create Patlabor can't crack a grin. |

Oh would I so like to be in his class.
(raises hand) "Oh Sir? I have this idea for a movie. I'm going to call it Bassett Hound in the Basket. When directing it, should I direct it as if I was the only one watching it, or should I direct it as if it was going to be viewed by the general public? Nice picture of him smiling there Cyberbeing. I have to agree the photo in the article does make Oshii look rather unhappy, maybe he had been having a bad day.
It certainly would be interesting to be in his class, certainly more interesting that some of the lectures I took at university.
"Bassett Hound in the Basket", great title I am sure with Oshii's advice it could be a hit especially with all those cyborg loving guys and girls out there. And of course don't forget the bassett hound lovers  , didn't Lt Columbo have a bassett hound? But the actual question is what would the response be? I'm expecting it would all be japanese to me  . |
