This book looks pretty awesome. But what's with the textbook pricing? I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had 80 bucks just lying around.....  |

Mostly, the fact that it *is* a textbook, and pretty much meant for college libraries ^^;;; |

Hey, count yourself lucky - Amazon.co.uk lists it at £50.50 which is over US$100. And that's the pre-order price so it'll probably be more when it actually comes out over here.
It looks pretty interesting but I can't imagine buying it for more than about half of what they're charging. I'll have to try to remember to keep an eye out for used copies a year or two from now. |
