I would guess they are planning to run Funi's dub, but with nothing reasonably (only very REMOTEly) near the DC area it is not to be for me. |

| Only 98 theaters? They're showing the One Piece movie in Las Cruces and my (small) town of Alamogordo in New Mexico. Of all the places why my town? I called them to confirm it and they said that it was going to show until Sunday. Interesting... The only problem is that there is only one showtime each day. There's no way I'm going to see it though.

It's only showing at one time per day in my "area".  Hopefully Vexille will follow this pattern and I'll see it at 12 noon on the weekend. |

Pixeleen: I guess you're lucky this article peaked my interest, I haven't posted on this forum for over 2 years, lol.

| Three theaters are showing One Piece in New Mexico and yet none of them are in Albuquerque! Oy. The only one of these films I would really like to see in a theater is Vexille, but it looks like the only theater within 30 miles of Albuquerque that's participating in the program won't be showing Vexille. Oh well, at least the Century Downtown 14 here got Paprika about six months ago.

Well, I'm not sure about the plotline or the dub, but if you like pretty graphics and explosions (typical summer action movie), then go see it. Otherwise, look for some reviews. From what I've seen of this, it's definitely one I'll be buying when it comes out on DVD, but it would be cool to see it in theatres as well. Edit: Bah... just checked and the closest theatre playing Vexille is almost 75 miles away... screw that... stupid Corvallis... yeah, it seems they are playing it in small towns... doesn't seem like a very sound marketing strategy to me. Maybe the screens were cheaper than in bigger cities. -_- |

Check here 67.43 miles to Livermore. I might go see Vexille it says from the creative team that brought you Appleseed. |
