| Just wanted to note that the Phoenix adaptation that Ichikawa directed is actually a live-action film that had small portions of animation in it (mainly animating the Phoenix herself). |

| Whoa 92! Man! Another veteran of the animation industry gone. He definitely led full life. May he rest in peace. I hope one day we see some of the older 'Phoenix' films. |

| Sad to hear him pass but 92's quite the age. Sounded like he lived a full life too. May he rest in peace. I hope one day I have the privilege of watching one of his films. |
