Wow Momoi sure loves going to cons in the west.
AX, Germany, Hawaii, and now Toronto. That's at least 4 oversea trips in the span of one year. Since I already got to see her at AX last year, I wonder if I should bother with this one...hrmm... |

It's about time that Anime North announced their Japanese guest!
And boy, what a guest. While I have no particular interest in Halko Momoi, I'm still going to check out her concert, since seeing Japanese guests at cons can be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and it makes the admission feel more worthwhile.
I might even grow to like her music. Kotoko's appearance at A-North two years ago solidified her position as my favourite music artist, so I'll see how Halko fares for me at A-North this year. |

Halko's Hawaii performance was probably within range for me to go, but it's highly doubtful my mom would take me from CA to Hawaii on a whim. Halko's Canada performance is a bit farther, but still not totally out of range. God I wish I could go  |

I wish a Japanese artist/band would come to the UK... All the Japanese bands that play so far seem to ALL be J-Rock, which is popular, and that's great, but we miss out on so much else...
Also, I seriously want Yoko Kanno to do a World Tour some day. |
