It's a niche title. Most niche titles (such as Kashimashi or Loveless) don't get dubs. |

Cost of dubs along with title popularity may be part of the reason. But probably also because they're trying to get it out to us fast. Even FUNi's recent licenses (at least Soukou no Strain) will be a full set release. Although, I don't think there has yet been any indication as far as I know that FUNi's licenses will start getting the sub-only treatment.
But indeed I too am disappointed that there's no dub. Oh well. |

| The article didn't point out what was, I think, the most interesting part: the release will have two subtitle tracks, one with honorifics and one without (i.e. Lady Sachiko instead of Sachiko-sama). |

Between the French and the Latin, I'm glad this isn't getting a dub. |

Looks like an ad for a feminine hygiene product. |

So Japanese are better at foreign languages than English-speakers? |

Hahaha, good one!
Though imagine a French dub of Marimite; that would be pretty hardcore. |

You shouldn't complain; we're lucky Marimite was licensed to begin with. |

I never believed that this would be released outside of Japan.
But I wasn't expecting that they would include the Ni wa Naisho videos too. They're a great little addition.
An Who'd want to watch a Dub? Most dubs suck - Try watching GTO<_< Must rank as one of the worst dubs ever (I'm not including cut-up and paste anime dubs like Cardcaptors here. They were just plain bad.)

They're releasing, what, 3 or 4 seasons worth of this with no dub?
No confidence at all.

Yeah, because picking one bad example is proof. Now, try watching the Cowboy Bebop dub. See, I could do it too.
(I'm sure other people could point out a good example for every bad example that comes up. This isn't the 20th century anymore - now if you really want to talk about bad dubs, young whippersnappers.... ) |

Marimite rules, after I buy this I'm going to wake up acting proper after getting hooked on Marimite like Konata (my female counterpart) did on Lucky ☆ Star
That's exactly what I'll do, though it maybe weird to pull it off since I'm a guy, but that's okay I'll do anything to stand out!!! |

Between that and the inclusion of the Naisho shorts, I'm completely thrilled about this release. Can't wait to grab it! |
