Why didn't they just put it on the DVD or Blu-ray instead of making it a first press option?

Something that's streamed and not yours for the life of the disk is not much of an extra.

Things that have a 100% chance of being ripped and fansubbed the second it goes online (even if only available to people who buy a special pre-order or box set): All That VF

What are they thinking? A bonus that huge and they aren't going to sell it openly? Are they asking people to pirate their stuff? Begging?
