Wow, lucky him. Castlevania seems to fall into his genre, so this could be interesting for fans of his series as well.

The character designs look terrible.

I don't know of anyone that likes them.

Simon Belmont looks EXACTLY like Light.
Maria Renard looks EXACTLY like Misa.
Alucard looks completely different than he ever has.

None of the characters are in the styles that they should be and they are wearing modern Goth\Loli clothes instead of the "noble" clothes they have previously worn.

I don't hate the character designs but I'd much much much rather see Ayami Kojima Designs.

This whole project is a 10 on the bizzaro meter.

Plus I don't think Castlevania is quite the same genre as Death Note, I'm sure there is overlap but very different fan bases over all.

Simon looks like a steroid baby born between Light and Mikami Razz

The designs are certainly....different. Maybe they don't work in the context of a Castlevania game, but I still think they look pretty sexy.
