| I'd rather Bandai get GITS:2.0, but whatever... Just don't mess it up Manga. I see no premium release in this though, unfortunately. |

| Yeah, it is a shame that Bandai didn't get this. Hopefully, Manga will give GitS 2.0 a Blu-ray release in addition to a DVD release. |

It is not a shame that Manga got this. Bandai did a great job with the Stand Alone Complex (especially the voice actors. It's one of the only dubs I can stand without gouging my eardrums out) but Manga has always done the movie. The only thing thats a shame is now I have to buy another version of a film I already have 2 copies of.
Although on second thought it would be interesting to hear the voiceactors from the TV series dub the movie. |

On that note, I hope they come out with a cheap version and a premium version. I don't really need three copies either, but if I have to I would just get the bare bones version. |

I am not getting my hopes up. Manga has never done a good job with packaging and special editions (the Eva movies for example).
Personally I am not that excited about the new CGI as I think the original 2D work looks much better. |

MH: The material for the Eva movies include what Gainax gave them.
Anyway, I just hope it's a 2-disc set for the original and the "special" edition.
Oh, and good for Takeuchi. I just hope he's not forced to come up with an anime version of Jar Jar Binks. |
