Well I loved Requiem from the Darkness, so I be checking this out(hopefully?). I am unaware of the direction of this current Kyogoku storyline, but I am somewhat concerned that CLAMP is the right choice to convey the gritty tenebrosity that was so prevalent and done so well in Requiem. I imagine that that theme is still a selling point in Kyogoku's work.
Other than that I am giza excited about this news.
Maybe if Geneon does well with its new deal they will pick this up. It's right up their alley. |

| I'm looking forward to this one. I had been looking into importing the manga since I had liked Shimizu's earlier work on the Qwan and Suikoden 3 manga but now maybe I won't have to. Here's hoping this'll get Tokyopop to license this for North America. |

The novel is really intense, and amazingly long.
Reading the book Requiem was based on, I have no idea how they could even have turned it into anime, but this is easier to film. Clamp are a puzzling choice, but hopefully will turn out less horrific than that manga cover. |
