| "Guilty Pleasures"? Jeez, give the freakin' manga/anime culture a bit of a break. |

| Gotta walk before we can crawl. Our next goal: get Sci-Fi Channel to stop basing its entire Ani-Monday advertising campaign on the premise that all anime fans are illiterate troglodytes who subsist on porn and violence. |

A guilty pleasure is still a pleasure.
Plus it was a really good review. I'm happy with just that. |

That's right. Most anime fans are semi-literate troglodytes who subsist on angst, porn and violence.
Can't these idiots get anything right? |

Guilty pleasures, well... it's a step in the right direction to see Monster in Time.
I think I might buy this issue then. Just for a blurb on Monster? Yes. |

I was thinking the same thing.
This article fills me with a strange sense of pride and joy that I can't quite explain. Perhaps I can convince my mother to give Monster a try now. I figure it's the best series to bridge the gap between our interests (she has that stereotypical view of anime being completely boobs and porn). |

| I was rather pleased when I picked this issue up the other day and stumbled across this piece. It's not every day that a manga series gets international praise from a Pulitzer winner, though Monster certainly deserves every word of it. |
