I'm glad this finally came out. I think I saw the first mention of it at least a year ago. I'd really like to check this one out just for fun.

I'm really happy this was finally released. I've been waiting for it since it was first announced Smile, now I just need to get it >.> hehe. I'm currently majoring in tele-communications to be an audio engineer however, it's always been my dream to do voice-over work, even it's not anime.

Liam is in it. Over 70 voice actors and actresses are in it. Its Wiki article has a complete list. Wish they had Dan Green.

So, where can you buy this? I can't seem to find it at the usual suspects.

Doesn't seem to be online anywhere yet. The official site says only that it'll be available shortly after AX. Went ahead and signed up an email account since it says they'll mail when it's available.

Ok, so I Googled the title, found the website, and signed up. I'm a fan of BZ's work, so I'm appreciative of the information, Polly E. Thanks! Smile

Yeay, it's finally available after who knows how long! And from the review, it sounds like it's worth the wait. I hope they bring some copies to Otakon!

this is one I definitely want to pick up. Being a voice acting is something I have always wanted to do so I have been waiting for this dvd forever like anyone else. Wold it be in the anime section or the documentary section though?

Don't feel too bad. I didn't realize it until a month later when it was mentioned.

Boy, this sure sounds like it could have been very cheesey. I'm glad to see that it got such a glowing review.

Liam isn't one of the more frequent ones, but he does pop up 3-4 times. The ones you see the most include Steve Blum, Johnny Yong Bosch, Crispin Freeman, Yuri Lowenthal, Lex Lang, Wendee Lee, Kari Wahlgren, Kate Higgins, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, Stephanie Sheh, Lance Henriksen (for reasons that escape me), and Bob Papenbrook - and despite the tribute to him, I think the latter is just a coincidence, as Bob is probably the most animated speaker in the interviews and has a good amount of interesting things to say.

Most interesting comment in the whole piece? Crispin Freeman's explanation about how he was a big fan who hated English dubs before he got into the business because he thought they were generally bad. (He's the one who partly got into anime voice acting because he wanted to help make sure that proper English dubs would allow anime titles to make better first impressions.)

Oh, that's interesting. He said the same thing during his panel at the 2007 Phoenix Comicon. I bet he mentions that every time he tells the story of how he got into anime voice acting.
