| I had seen the 1st remake of Akko-chan a few years ago. I salute one of the pioneers of one of my favorite anime genres - the magical girl genre. May his soul find peace and happiness from those that knew him and his works. |

Although I have seen Lupin the Third, I can't say I have read or watched any of Mr. Akatsuka work.
However, with all due respect intented, may he rest in peace and may his name be remembered by future generations. Despite the fact I am not a shojo fan at all, I still respect the fact this artist created a new type of humor gene and created the magical girl gene.
But in all seriousness, I hope he is able to rest in peace. |

I don't know about his other stuff, but I do know Ganso Tensai Bakabon. That was a funny show. I think of the the TV stations in Japan did a biography on his life.
He will be missed. |

| Bakabon, now that is a nostalgic title. Sad to see somebody like him pass away. |

Another great mangaka passs away.... I watched the first Himitsu no Akko-chan TV series when I was a child, and I went "nooooooo!" when I realized it was created by him.
Well, at least he fullfilled his dream to become a mangaka. Rest in peace, sensei. |

Oh man. Another who has lived a full life. R.I.P.
I've never seen the series, though I'm familiar with his work. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to see some. |
