I hope she recovers! She's one of my favorite seiyuu.
Actually, this reminds me a bit of Misuzu (Air) and Utena's final situation in their respective series...
Oh Snap! I wonder if she got to complete her voice-over work for Clannad After Life. It is airing in October.

Most likely she caught a twenty four bug or something else. I am guessing she is relitively young, so she'll probably feel better soon.
Though I am glad the reporter and writer didn't over dramatize this article though. Though these unknown reasons could be anything though. |

Well you do need to go back and re-read the article - it mentions she had surgery, so whatever she's ill from is more serious than the flu  .
I just hope she gets well soon. Too many Japanese actors and singer from this age group (35 - 45) seem to be dying these days and that is a very bad situation IMO  |
