I can't wait for the new season, I've really been missing watching this series.
About the long hair Yuuki has, (manga spoilers)I guess this means we'll be reaching the revelation of Yuuki's past and her awakening as a vampire, which is when her hair becomes longer in the manga. |

I worry... the manga hasn't finished yet, and anime-original endings to a story have a hit-and-miss record of being good.
Of course, as those who have read the manga further than its American release know, this is also where the story gets really good and rather kinky, so hopefully it'll win over a few people who were turned off by the premise. |

yes, Vampire Knight was meant to have 26 episodes from the beginning, they just decided to take a break between seasons.
I really dig the new music they have for the opening and that trailer makes me excited to pick the show back up again. |

Exact opposite for me: I don't really like the new opening. Of course, i was never crazy about the first opening, though I loved the ending theme - so creepy!  |

Yeah, I've been a bit worried about that for awhile, but the manga has more than enough material that hasn't been animated for them to leave off without coming up with their own ending. And if they keep doing 13 episodes, then breaks, they might even give the manga enough time to end on it's own and then they'll have something to animate. |

| So I'm assuming that ON/OFF is the VK official band. Not that I mind or anything. I'm very much hoping that the series goes on for a bit until the manga finishes if only to save it from having the same fate as inuyasha and less recently rurouni kenshin. |

| That website pic has like 2 big spoilers lol... and I'm talking like stuff that won't happen until late in the second season unless they rapidly change the order of events and skip a few things. |
