| Has anyone heard any reviews about the 20th Century Boys movie? I'm waiting with baited breath for reviews on whether it's good or not. |

Toei's dumb as usual. |

How is that dumb? They spend $55 million to make all 3 movies. If the first one makes $46 million then the other 2 only have to make $9 million combined for them to break even.
Since Hancock is #1 I was wondering are US movies shown subbed or dubbed in Japan? |

Looks like the Japanese can't resist the charms of Will Smith. |

| samurai: They're dumb, because they're assuming there's enough of a demand for three movies, and that they can blow the Japanese equivalent of LOTR'S budget on it. What if it ends up being another Casshern for the company, financially?! |

That's okay. I don't blame them.
I'm the same way.
But I will also resonate samurai's question. Are US movies dubbed or subbed in Japan when shown in theaters? |

Usually a big hollywood film will have both dubs and subs playing at the multi-plexes.
Also, I really really enjoyed 20th Century Boys. While it trimmed some fat and a few scenes I thought were important, it stayed relatively true to the manga except for telling what happened on New Years Eve a bit early. The last 20 minutes of the film were amazing.
