Holy crap! I live 10 blocks away from MCAD and I've yet to be informed of this until today?!
EDIT: AND Crispin Freeman will be there? There will be a restraining order taken out against me on Sept. 27th. |

I... I am flabbergasted. I live in the Twin Cities, I'm the most obsessive Haibane Renmei fan in history, and... I'll be out of the country when ABe's here!
Please hold me. |

| I didn't think he ever left his country. Indeed if it wasn't for his doing a very recent manga for the Ipod thingy, I was thinking maybe he died too. I hope he mentions he's working on a new movie, or series. |

Of course Frenchy waits until now to bring in ABe, instead of one of the 4 consecutive years I attended SGMS for class credit. ;p
sigh... |

He's actually visited a lot cons over the years.

Well, common sense would tell you that it would have been reported if he died.
Wraith on AoD said that ABe hinted at a con last year (or was it 2006?) that a story of his may/should be adapted soon. |

| SGaMS is an awesome conference. I attended last year, and I'm sad that I can't go back. And on top of being an awesome voice actor, Crispin Freeman is a great speaker too. |

I like ABe's work on Lain, Haibane Renmei, NieA_7 and Texhnolyze. Unfortunately, I haven't checked out his artwork on Robot. Too bad I don't live in the US, it will be an experience to hear about his work and about Japanese popular culture.
I really hope to see him getting into an anime project again, since his character artwork on Texhnolyze 5 years ago. |

Words cannot describe how exited I am for this.
I loved both Hiabane Renmei and Serial Experiments Lain, and I live in Fargo, so it might be possible that I could go to this.
Hopefully everything works out... |

| Makes me wish I had the time and means to check it out. ABe is pretty much my favorite artist in the anime/manga world, and I love Haibane Renmei and Lain; two amazing works. |

This year's going to be awesome.
Although hopefully next year it will be noted that anyone can take it for credit and have it transfer - not just MCAD students. <_< Ah, c'est la vie; too late to change it now, I guess... |
