| I'll be attending the majority of the manga panels. I'll also be attending the 'State of the Anime/Manga' industry panels.
Hopefully I can get a autograph from 'Rie Tanaka'. |

| Is there gonna be a Viz Media panel there discussing new anime licenses? I need to know, because I want to know the next time Viz is going to be at an anime convention. | |||

Oh what a load. Viz never shows up at any anime conventions nowadays. But how in the world does FUNimation show up to every single one? It makes no sense. |

| Just to hear the orgin of Anime News Network's Nina would be enough for me, along with the other events. Too bad there are several factors preventing me from going. Since my rank at my job only receives one week of vacation for every year one work's there, I want to save my vacation for Comic Con 2009.
Each week I enjoy reading Anime News Nework Nina, so I've always wondered how this series came to be. |

| My vacation just ended this Wed.
I'm unsure whether I'm ready for a 2nd consecutive restless weekend. If anything, I'm just looking to do like what I filmed last year. Well, that and probably trying out good food at Iron Chef Morimoto's.... We already enjoyed good Japanese food over at Seattle and Vancouver. |

| Really, good panels this time around. Though there was one panel that I often wondered if it even belonged and that was the 'Indy Isn't Easy'. It was a good panel, but why it was placed in the 'Manga Panel' room I'll never know. Any more than 'Kitty Media' doing a 'Yuri' and 'Yaoi' panel. Of course the 'Misaki Rocks! panel was about art and I was totally misled.
The 'State of the Anime/Manga Industry' were the most important topics. And once again I have to "shake my head" at those who did attend that just "DON'T GET IT" when it comes to the anime DVD industry. But I'm pleased to hear steps being taken. They may be small, but they are steps nonetheless toward a "solution". So I wish ANN luck on that. The only thing I would have liked to have seen at the panel was what the site looked like 10 years before. That would have been a good presentation to have added. Again, I would like to say it was a pleasure meeting everyone from 'ANN'. So please continue to keep up the fantastic work. You guys are certainly going places. We will now have 'PA' for our library thanks to the helpful staff in the forums. And my having to nip at my employers heels to remind them that we were supposed to get it. Thanks for the 'Amano' print. After failure of getting even a damn handshake, I'm happy with just this. |
