| Is it just me? But does that character on the top right (if she's supposed to be a dark elf) look like Pirotess? |

Sounds like the bastard child of El Hazard and Dual!, but with a relative of Tenchi to give it some type of name recognition. |

Hmm, they're taking a totally different direction with the art style.
I don't really want to watch something that's related to Tenchi in some long round about, if mentioned at all beyond the half-sibling connection, way just so they can sell it. I would like to see how it interplays with the Tenchi canon as we know it. If nothing else I just hope it will be a good anime. |

Even though it's a Tenchi spinoff I'm a little hopeful that this will actually finally tie the Tenchi and Dual universes together. That robot in the background kinda looks like a Core Unit, even slightly looks like Zinv.

Oh! I really like that trailer, even though it doesn't have animation in it! I really like the aesthetics of that world. The architecture is very lovely in my eyes. It looks colorful, mysterious, beautiful, and ancient and like a world filled with places that will be fun to "visit" while watching the story. I like that one piece of artwork that looks like a huge twisting tree around a building. That's awesome to me because I've always loved the spaceship trees and giant Juraian trees in the other Tenchi shows (including GXP). The areas that look like ruins of some importance fill me with curiosity, too.
I just checked the Seikishi web site yesterday, and they'd only added the character designs tab when I went there, so thank you very much for the update and the English info, ANN! |

| Don't see it being worse than the 3rd OVA series... hopefully. |

Never saw the third OVA, I see. Well, more power to you.
Kajishima should be run out of the business. Even if this is masterpiece, it'll be hard for him to redeem himself, at least to me. |

Anybody going to maybe tell us what the heck those Kanji (or whatever) mean? Since I can't read Japanese.
I am sure that they might say something cool about the show... |

Here's a great little nugget of info for you, Penguintruth: Some of us LIKE the 3rd OAV.
If anything, I'm hoping for more of the same because the 3rd OAV did so much to expand the universe that Tenchi and his family are off adventuring in. Seikishi ought to be even more of an adventure, so I'm particularly looking forward to it. |

More like it crammed in more characters than the plot could support and introduced several elements that directly contradicted the established characterizations and plot, throwing off the rhythm of the first two OVAs and defacing the great work the Tenchi world once was. |
