Man, Wish I could have seen this; True, I hear the movie wasn't all that great compared to the first one, but even if it was for the laughs, I'd have still tried to see it.
However, I don't know about you guys, but is it me or are the showings for anime movies in Canada really horrendous? I was lucky enough to see Death Note Movie 1 (which wasn't all that bad), but I can't make it for this one because of the fact that I have my exam tomorrow morning for chemistry :/ I also noticed the same for the last Bleach Movie release in Canada... horrible timing, right in the middle of midterms. It's like they're deliberately trying to ruin college/university student's opportunities to catch these extremely limited showings! |

Well, try having the DVD package advertised, paying for it and then learning afterwards that the release was not until February! (I got my money back.) Also, the sound had to be fixed and the pre-show making of gave away the ending! I don't blame the theater...I blame VIZ! They sent the film to the theaters and told them not to set up until an hour before!
BTW, I liked the movie. I do agree with the first poster that it wasn't as good as the first one, but it was still entertaining. |

| And unfortunately I live in the US which is unfortunate for me. Also the first one is fine, thanks to having the TV dub VA on the live-action movies, though it would've looked a lot more better if it was an anime version instead of live action. That way no one would complain about how much live action verisions suck. |
