How was your first time Twisted Evil at NYAF? Did you enjoy it or did you hate it? Where you scared for your first time at NYAF?

What panels did you see? Who did you meet? What did you do or what did you eat? And Who did you cosplay as? What did you buy?

Did I cover it all?

I went on Sunday with my family and it sucked. Non of the panels I went to were interesting e.g Japanese Theater for example (I've read about it before and it was mostly like a lecture not something very interactive). I would have loved a Shinsengumi panel though.

The best part was Samurai Sword Soul (was that it?). The cosplayers were great but I've been to tons of cons before, so it's redundant. Didn't eat anything (Are you kidding? $8 for like a sandwich is crazy. I think it was $3 for water?). We spend most of our time at the dealer's rooms and stuff. I didn't cosplay but my older sister was a Lolita and my younger sister was Yuffie (FFVII). We bought some plushies (Particularly Roy and Alphonse), Cosmos Action Figure, (I'm sure some other stuff but I can't think of anything right now).

The closing ceremony was unattractive because they didn't show who everyone was that entered in the cosplay competition and then announce the winners. They just announced the winners.

It was a horrible experience esp. with my mom- and now she's skeptical about allowing me to go this year- but I'll think about it (Maybe I'll be going on Friday. Never on Sunday again! Even BAAF's sunday was better).

Sorry for the negativity =(

It was my first con ever, decent for an opening one. Only went for one day...and I was alone, so it could've been a better experience.
I'd like to go again, if they take place on dates when I'm actually home. ^^;
There's always AnimeNext, tho.
