Bad-commercial-bashing aside, Sakura Con did a wonderful job in marking the cancelled panels ASAP and had a posting at the information booth explaining. They really handled it quite well and (as far as I know) there were no issues with it.

I hope everything goes well for him.

I was originally assigned as liaison for Mr. Ohata and from what I heard his medical emergency really was quite serious. It might have been fatal had he had it on the plane to Seattle. He would have been a great guest to have and hopefully next year he will be able to attend.
