Too busy, much too busy! There's... too much stuff coming off of it.

I hope it's not around for too long.

Ew, I don't like it. They should stay to the conventional concept of the mecha IMO. This just looks too alien.

Well, it looks pretty hardcore, but I have mixed feelings over the whole quadruped deal that they've got going on there. Previously the Eva was all about its resemblance to humans and now it looks somewhat like an over-sized stick bug... a hardcore, over-sized stick bug armed with a lance-thing though -- so it has potential. are we sure this thing is real; and not some sort of elaborate hoax?

that thing is... ... ...very weird.

i'll withhold judgement for now, since it might look positively bad assed in the next movie. it's suposed to be an Eva, so if it's the real deal, it will probably move like an Eva, despite having four legs. the arms seem weird to me as well, since when do Eva's have built in weapons? they're not gundams after all. and what's with those dippy skinny arms coming off the shoulder blades?

hmm, this thing is really weird looking and i'm having a hard time believing that this is what Anno wants Eva to be.

No kidding. I already snapped one the long barrels off of one of the Revo Eva guns, I'll be amazed if those spindly things on the shoulders even make it out of package intact.

I do like the design, it's much more robotic than the usual organic Eva designs. Anyone else think it kinda looks like a QT-Arms from Sora Kake Girl?

I'm sure there's a reason for it looking so different; they wouldn't throw in such a huge non-sequitur just to look cool when they other Evas are known for their distinct theme.

And this one is off the picture in here! But as giascle, said probably there is a reason for it!

So this is what fanboy rage feels like. Mad

It's a, er... unique design...
Hopefully there's a reason for why it looks like that. Smile

There, fixed the title for you. I didn't think people would have forgotten the movie so soon, but that's life.

I always got the impression it would look a tank for some reason. Not too fond of it, but I don't hate it. Besides, the insect-like design might give it some advantages.

You'd think Anno wouldn't, but consider that the "source" for this information is 2channel... hence all the doubt and disbelief above

"Aura Battler Dunbine"...those were the 1st words in my head when I 1st saw the above picture. An intriguing design for an EVA. I actually had to go to the encyclopedia to confirm that Ikuto Yamashita is still the mecha designer for the Rebuild movies after seeing this. Certainly as much a departure for him as for the rest of the EVA-verse and fandom.
