That price seems awfully high for 10-11ish episodes when you compare half-season releases that other companies are doing.

The list has been updated.

I'm assuming the the Shippuden listing is for the edited volumes. There's no way I'd collect this series in singles form. Even if it weren't mediocre until the Hidan and Kakuzu arc.

Well, at least Shippuden is FINALLY getting a release date, even if it's going to be for edited, single releases. Sure, I'm sure many are going to wait for uncut boxsets (I'm one of them Anime hyper), but at least it's a start at last.

How do you guys know Shippuden's volumes will be edited? Considering the first series disappeared from Cartoon Network before finishing, Shippuden getting a TV broadcast seems iffy now, so there would be no reason for Viz to record an edited dub as well.

Either way though, I'll wait for the boxsets.

I'm just hoping for the best case scenario. Like I said before, collecting this series in singles isn't really an option for me.

Not to mention that we're seeing fewer and fewer singles released every month. The only reason I can think of for Viz wanting to release this series in singles is that they want to follow the pattern that they had for the first series.

This is all that I'm getting from Viz Media for now Anime smile.

*sigh* The Shippuden listing is for the uncut...single. Can't believe that they're treating this series like they treat Bleach.

EDIT: Fixed the link.

I guess they figure there's still enough people that will be that foolish enough to continue to by it. But then again, it is Naruto and Bleach. Not trying to instigate, but they're still series for 7-12 years in the end.

Yeah, that makes sense given the "Teen+" rating. Confused

Well, at least we know that is going straight to uncut instead of releasing edited dub and uncut, but still, I know most Shippuden fans are going to be waiting for boxsets to come out (and if Viz was smart, they would put them out sooner than later).

Probably they're not releasing a boxset yet because they don't have enough episodes dubbed yet, and are using the singles as a way to get it out there while still dubbing more episodes, but you would think with as long as Viz has had the license for Shippuden and have been dubbing it, they would have enough for at least one boxset already. -shrugs- I dunno; just a guess.

add Honey and Clover "Boxset 1" - $59.90 (assuming NANA's pricing) - 9/22

HEY! Respect the lovely back massaging warming chair that those rights make for Viz! You wouldn't want them to have uncomfortable backs or non-warm seats would you?

*If anyone from Viz is reading this, please watching this video to understand how I feel about your Monster rights seat warmer*
