I got each/every FLCL DVD as they were released in Japan and then again when Sync Point brought thema cross the pond, because I wanted to support the release of such an original anime in the US.
Since it's release I dare say FLCL is: Best overall original animated series I've seen since it's release Best original written series Best VO work (Japanese cast) Excellent charatcer design Most innovative animation technique Incredile background paintings (I love their use of guache and watercolor) Not to mention exceptional animation and use of color all around. j |
