Again, it sounds like bs. You don't go all the way to Japan to get the rights to a movie that you'd give up on later down the road. As far as I'm concerned, DBZ is just in development hell.

Why are you even worry about it. If you don't like it, then just ignore it. I probably would like to see what comes out of it, good or bad, at least it's something better then nothing. Like when sailor moon live action came out and everyone had bad things to say about it. It turn out quite decent.

I do, too, but this news item just says that it isn't being done by Fox. The movie could be in production, just under another production company.

Eh, no big loss. I really didn't want to see the onslaught of DBZ fanboys whine about which actor does which character or why Goku's hair is just a big wig instead of it being natural.

That was when Kyle Hebert's site admin had contacted ILM and FOX, but a lot of people didn't give him much credit for it since it was something anyone could have done. This time with a news site like IGN making the report the info seems to hold a lot more water with people (personally I accepted it back when Kyle's admin reported it, but whatever).

The quote is directly from what Fox told my site admin. The same quote has been reported over the past several months on numerous sites, but bottom line.........my webmaster is the one who made the call to Fox. Kinda funny to see it surface again after all this time.

Now, could Fox have been just pulling a fast one? Sure. But that isn't the point. The news was reported to simply state what Fox is publicly stating. The film could either be dead, or in development hell, or secretly in full blown production. Only time will tell. But I wanted to chime in to annnounce that what IGN is reporting is nothing new.

Sincerely,
Kyle Hebert

Although the news about the Live Action DBZ came to use from IGN Filmforce, we've been reminded that is was originally reported on Kyle Herbert's website a while back. It looks like Filmforce's quoted even come from KyleHerbert.com.

I was looking forward to it at first but then again the actor who'd play goku would probably look stupid.
