You saw the "no soapboxing" rule right? Because you posted this same comment in the full-length review thread and frankly like 90 percent of your comments are "no dub no sale!!". I think everyone understands your viewpoint by now.

Tamaki dakimura and Rukia figure...? There are quite a lot of those figures with movable limbs. And an Obama figure with the Death Note...
My shelves are kept filled, but floorspace has severely become limited...

I'm a huge Gainax dork, but, that being said, I have absolutely no desire to buy He Is My Master. And seeing as how I generally agree with Bamboo about most things, if she hated it for the reasons stated, then it's pretty safe me to say that I will probably hate it for the same reasons. There's just something icky about a show where a guy forces girls to dress up like fetish maids to do his bidding - and this coming from a Mahoromatic fan.
So, thanks for re-affirming my decision to pass on that one Bamboo. Sorry, Gainax. I still think you guys are cool, though.
Oh yeah, my boyfriend has a theory about Gainax - he figures they're trying to convince people to have sex with 14 year old girls. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense - I mean, Yoko, anyone? |

You can draw a character and make her any age you wish to. Yoko certainly doesn't look 14, and despite some real 14 year olds being mature and growing up fast, I'm sure that none look like Yoko. That's a fully mature body that you don't see until after 17 years of age. Gainax just says she's 14 because the Eva pilots, and almost all of the other Gainax protagonists are 14. |
