Congrats on getting married Robin!

Never mix anime with real life, disapointments are bound to show up. "Fat Bitch" was a little over kill for someone who triped on the stairs. At least SHE was concerned for him. I hope she slapped him in the face or at least someone else told him off. Great job and hope the wedding goes well!

Am I the only one who thinks this comic is a bit minimal? They're usually twice as long . . .

And I also want to congratulate you on your wedding, Robin!

Yes this one is a bit minimal but I urge you to look at the part of your post I bolded for the reason why. Wink Planning a wedding is VERY time consuming. I've never been married but I am helping my friend plan his who will be getting married next month. Trust me, it's VERY time consuming especially if you're the one getting married.

Totally guilty of making anime assumptions about real life like that, haha.

Congratulations on your marriage!

Same here. Anime hyper

Marriage? Forgive my ignorance, but did Robin get married?

PS - can we please not focus on his use of the f-word in going for a more biting remark, rather than the pedestrian "clumsy oaf?"

This begs the question, why?

Anyway, great comic Robin. Wouldn't mind if that happened to me if woman was obviously 18 or older and hot. Empathizes on hot and older than 18 though.

Congrats on the wedding Robin, not to sound out of place, but best wishes.

Yeah, considering Nina has definitely been one of the better webcomics to have a mostly consistent release schedule, I certainly think Robin deserves a break for something this important.

On a side-note, I felt it was long over-due for Nina to finally get her own TVTropes page, so I sacrificed a few hours (though it didn't feel like much of a sacrifice, archiving the comics is always good for my funny bone!) and got it up and created, and found more "examples" than I was expecting. Anyone who wants to add more or fix any errors is more than welcome.

*Congratulation on the nuptials Wink *

you can bet money that 'fat' is much less likely than another f-word that sounds like farking... methinks the 'fat' issue is protested too much in context of what happened, and the people it happened to.

interestingly this has happened to me several times, especially at Comic-Con, on those water-side back steps... sadly no romance. Still a little blushing and giggles can make up for somebody knocking the wind out of you. The one I actually caught [avoiding a real injury], sadly had her boyfriend right there with her... I gave him the accusatory "where the hell were you, man?" stare.

On the other hand, a girl turned a corner and walked right into me, and then fell down. When I tried to help her up, she yelled "get out of my way!" to which I replied: 'listen your worshipfullness, you walked into ME!'

People are just sometimes rude...

on the other, other hand? Perhaps there is a bystander that has witnessed the whole thing... and perhaps, that same bystander commiserates, offering kind words... and perhaps romance blossoms on a tangent to someone else, instead of id10t boya who doesn't realize that he just had a gift fall on him from heaven...

mayhap that's what happened to our intrepid mangaka? Now she's getting married, how nice.

Yeah, that's about right. That was pretty harsh. Maybe it might have worked if she was a busty supermodel in 9-inch heels.
