| I saw that japan-manga.jp is listed as a Japanese retailer.
japan-manga.jp is now a social bookmarking site. You can still buy anime/manga goods from the store there. http://www.japan-manga.jp |

| Okay, so sue me, i'm going to have to post this twice, kind of, in 2 separate threads.
Sorry ANN, but does this area really get enough traffic to be modded? ....just joking! Actually, I wish there was some kind of board for collectors of anime/manga related goods, such as figures, posters, and other various items. Actually, because I hit this thread a few months ago, I recently contacted a company that was in the initial post on this thread...yep, a post that is 7 years old! I went to jigsco.com, and sonuva...!!!!! I hit freaking paydirt! I'll post what I got in the "what did you just buy" and probably throw the Jigs name in too. They are easy to deal with, and there is so much that you can find on their auctions that you will NOT find in domestic (i.e. U.S.) shops, or even a lot of the import shops that have english language available. jigsco.com freaking rules. No kidding, give them a try! |

| For those in the UK who rely too much on comparison sites, there's an online shop entirely dedicated to anime (and related products) which won't appear on your searches. http://www.anime-on-line.com/ I believe it's MVM's property. They usually have good deals on MVM products, though they don't only sell MVM's. They also ship overseas if I'm not mistaken. |

This has nothing to do with anime; it carries cosplay costumes, though. |

| Can anyone speak for Play-Asia?
I've looked at their site--and the many anime soundtracks in the Bargin section that are on my RADAR. The problem is that they hail from Hong Kong, and I've been burned by Hong Kong bootleggers before. ...Then again, I'm currently a little gun-shy of the CDs from some U.S. Amazon sellers... Am I being overly cautious here? |

I can vouch for Play-Asia I've made several purchases from there and never had any bootlegs or problems. Plus they do as you probably already know have some nice offers located Here for allot of the new anime DVD's and merchandise. If your worried still you can check can pay via paypal (easier to get money back if problems) or other methods shown Here The risk with amazon is almost as high as ebay (got more bootlegs than real ones) I've ordered 6 anime series from Ebay and 2 from Amazon (UK one) unfurtunatly all but one were bootlegs (could still see the tv logo in top left). Anyway all the latest Dvd's are available Here hope this helps and use my experience of learning the hard way with bootlegs. Safe shopping |

| Does anyone know this site? http://www.discountz.eu/ They have some out of print figures I may or may not buy in the future. Their shipping rate is around £7, which isn't that bad. |

| If the dub is in Chinese it's usually a pirated copy. | |||
