There sure is a LOT of releases going on here...

ANN has a fancy new gun(i.e. their video player) that they just want to show off!
Good releases to demonstrate too. Monte Cristo in sub is a fine choice.

I was just thinking about trying Samurai Champloo actually, guess it's a sign.

Under the announcement it says "Also fresh today: Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo 1-26 (s)".

Gankutsuou is 24 episodes, not 26.

This is awesome. Now I finally get to watch Gankutsuou. Been putting that off for years.

I'm trying to watch Samurai Champloo but there's this one add, it's a weight lose ad, think it's slim fast, that pops up and then repeats, repeats, repeats, and would probably repeat again but by that time I'm trying to refresh the video to make it go away. Help?

The weight-loss pill ad seems to repeat three times (with different content each time), but I think it's supposed to be that way. It should let you go after three go-rounds.

The only trouble I've had with that ad was when I started watching Remi, since every time it played all I could think was "How could anyone worry about losing weight when Remi and his mama have no food!? OH CRUEL WORLD!" But that had nothing to do with the player itself, so do carry on.

Yes, that's an issue with the ad scripting that we're resolving right now. Sorry about that. I think it's darkly funny in the context of Remi and starvation... Smile

Okay, not sure if this is the right place to post this (but the bugs forum looks like it never gets used anyway) but I was watching episode 6 and at one point the characters start talking either Dutch or German and there are subtitles on the bottom of the screen but they're in Japanese (this is close to the end of the episode). A friend of mine said that it had English subs on his DVD during that episode, so is this a quirk of the English dub or did Funi send you guys a weird version of the video?
