Japanese cast sounds better. FUNi needs to update a trailer featuring the Japanese cast.
Masamune's VA sucks. |

Looks like Tony Stark's batting for the other team. Anyway, I just hope Blade looks like a Boondocks character, and not like Mr. Popo.

I wish they'd left out the blaring rock and roll and the trailer is pretty short but It's not nearly as bad as you guys make it out to be.
(granted the Japanese Actors were all absolutely brilliant in Sengoku BASARA and it'll be a hard act to follow)
I have faith in NYAP, if anyone can do this series justice they can. |

| Iron Man looks great, and it looks like the action is more on the mature side, which is just what I was hoping for. ^^)b |

I've been sort of curious about Corpse Princess since I love the opening song, but I know nothing about it. Is it any good?
Also, dear Funimation: please stop region-locking your trailers. I really don't see how letting someone from Ireland watch a 1-minute promo is putting your profit margins in peril. |

I was able to watch episode 1 of Shikabane Hime on FUNi's YouTube channel. I don't know if they lump Ireland in with the UK, but it's worth a try. *shrug*
The show looks pretty decent, and has an interesting premise, but it certainly doesn't seem like anything spectacularly original or mindblowing. |

Looks like Iron Man is still cursed with terribly animated CG. I was hoping that the earlier trailer was just a rough, but apparently not.
Samurai Girls, however, has a very interesting black-glow-with-chromatic-aberration effect. If that carries over to the series proper (i.e. is not a trailer-only filter) it might be worth sitting through the fanservice. |

Not bad on the dub for 'Shikabane Hime'. I'll definitely picking both seasons. If not now I'm getting it for myself come 'Xmas'. I really want them now for my birthday since they're coming out so soon. But recovering from a trip just is oh so fun.
I may have to pass on the 'Samurai Girls' or maybe not. But I'm kind of getting tired of scantily cladded females with swords. But maybe I'll just take a peek.
Definitely want to see the Iron Man anime. Though I'm starting to get tired of seeing CGI in 2D animation. But hey can't do anything about that. Glad to see that this project happened. |

How does this:
| Quote: | | Japan maintained its enforced seclusion from the rest of the world. |
make sense with this:
| Quote: | | the student council | ?
Last time I checked, they did not have student councils under the Tokugawa bakufu... |

And this "Iron Man" series will differ from the rest in what way???
Even the only villian they show was in Armored Adventures (Technovore). |

Even though this alternate-history story imagines if the Tokugawa shogunate never went out of power, the story still takes place in the early 21st century. |

For Sengoku Basara, since I don't see the BD version released in Japan (or is one planned?), I hope we are getting the native HD version on Bluray here. If so, I can see a lot of reverse imports |
