| Don't forget those cartoon spin-offs of the movie. Anyway, looks better 'n' RE: Degeneration. |

| I hope there's more hilarious satire and less SPESS MAHREENS. |

| Curious, but has anyone seen the Sunrise series? It was pretty good. |

| It'd be nice if this didn't crap all over the books like all the Verhoven based material has (a confessed hater of the original book) but I'm not holding my breath. |

This looks mildly interesting.

Do you mean the 6 episode OVA? I couldn't bring myself to finish that personally.

Roughnecks: Starship Trooper Chronicles. Yeah, definitely. That show rocked. It managed to find a comfortable medium between the book universe and movie-verse. |

Anyone who would make an adaptation of a work he dispised, for the express purpose of dissing the original -- especially after the original author is dead -- is nothing more than an amoral whore. May he rot. (No offense to honest prostitutes intended.)
But the worst offense was that, my making the Bugs non-tech users, the story itself made no sense. Did any of the other series address this? |

Saw it, thought it was ok. They tried hard, but it just felt too clunky.
I had to read the book for a class, and whenever I imagined Rico's voice, I heard it as if narrated by the narrator for Star Wars: Battlefront 2. Anyone else get that? |

| Glad that the bug looks better than the ones from SST 2 & 3. Would be nice if they add satire, more bugs and different campaigns. |

| It's looking good. Loved the detail in the space shots. The music fits well too. |
