I still like having hard copies of my anime. I buy DVDs fairly regularly, and have been waiting for Eyeshield to get licensed for years. I like the idea of what Crunchyroll is doing, but you will NEVER see me pay to watch anime online only.
I hope that this doesn't mean some other company can't pick up those series to release on dvd; or I fear that I'll never see the endings. |

I completely agree with you. I waited for years, just like most fans to have this show to be licensed. This series was canceled on t.v and on toonami Jetstream. If I was really into watching this series, I'd watch this via Netflix or see if movie rental store had this. But paying online to watch anime, I'd never do that.
Granted Crunchyroll is trying to clean up their act, shelling out dollars just for anime online is something I wouldn't ever do. |
