| Well, looks like someone's wish came true. Didn't expect this title to make it top side. I did like what I saw, so I may pick it up. |

Knew this would happen. Funimation tends to snap up the most marketable stuff, and I guess they can afford to because they done did it again.
With very minor edits, this could totally go on Cartoon Network. I know Toonami died, but whatever block they play kids' anime in, you could cut this down a little bit and put it in there.
I mean, you could put it on [adultswim], too, but I think it has far less success potential there. This has potential kids' anime franchise written all over it...well, get past the breast jokes, and it does. It's definitely childish in tone, but it's different enough to catch your attention when you're flipping through channels. Like a Tim Burton shonen tourney show or something. |

| and I have a feeling that we might not quite be done yet either. Wanna bet they put in a final big one just before midnight (and they seem to be going by central time too, so probably just before 1am eastern) |

| Well if the soul eater thing came to be it seems that there is only one thing left for them to announce and I know I'm not the only one extremely excited for it. |

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy New Year, indeed! Now they just need to cast the perfect English actors. (Someone trick Johnny Depp into playing Soul Eater! Just tell him that Tim Burton had a role in making it. Shouldn't be too hard to pull off !) |

| Now the whining can stop already. I'll need to see the first episode before I buy this one. |

Well, trailers for anime shows are rarely academy award material. Heck, most of the time it's just the opening credit sequence without the credits. |

Ugh. the credit sequence would have been far better than that. I hate to criticize them in their moment of glory, but I couldn't even finish it... didn't help that the cheesy voice goes on f-o-r-e-v-e-r. It literally sounds like parody, something from Robot Chicken, instead of the real thing. If that represents their current marketing quality, I'll start to worry about their investment in all these licenses
Still hoping for Eva... |

Sweet. I've been waiting for this one to get licensed, and they already have a release date too.
And yeah, that trailer is really cheesy, but this show will sell well regardless of how good or bad the trailer is. |

Hell yes!
This was what I've been hoping for since day one.
Edit: That trailer was rather painful. |

The trailer was labeled to be the Japanese trailer. Could that be like an "international" trailer made by the Japanese for licensing purposes? |

WooHoo! Thanks Funi! I'm so excited that this got licensed! Very awesome news and a definite buy from me. It is actually only one of a few anime that hadn't been license that was a most definite, cannot wait to buy. So, I'm very happy ! |
