Wow, this is really a surprise. Now the problem is will the anime be 1 or 2-cour. I hope it will be the latter because I think most adaptation should be better when it's 2-cour.

KyoAni or P.A. Works only. And I don't think P.A. Works would drop the ball like they did with Angel Beats this time around. Anyone else is automatically doomed to fail.

Jeez, the anime news this week just keeps getting better and better.

I would have thought that LB might be a little hard to convert into an anime and still deliver the point of the story, given the way that the arcs and common route evolve leading up to Refrain (I'm wondering if Refrain will told separately as with Clannad), but im still excited to see a new Key anime regardless.

I wonder if they are going to include Saya. I know the news post indicates that it will be using the title for the original and not the later 18+ reversion, but its not inconceivable that they just dropped the 'ecstasy' from the title and still pan to use the extra content/ route revisions. I hope so, I'd like to find out her deal since its illegal to import EX here >.<

*Fingers crossed for alternate ending OVA's*

The commercial was for the upcoming April 10th release of Visual Art's own magazine: Dengeki Visual Art's 2012 SPRING, which will contain information about the company's past and latest works as well as a feature on the green-lit Little Busters animated adaptation.

Well, there's a trend with anime adapted from Key visual novels.

AIR: 13 episodes
Kanon: 24 episodes
Clannad: 48 episodes

So, yeah, if everything goes according to plan, this adaptation should run for a full two years. Ok, maybe not.... But if Clannad is any indication, it could very well run for four seasons.

As much as I want another Key anime, it has to be done by Kyoto Animation.

Pllleasseee tell me its being adapted by Kyoto Animation.

Im not really fussed who does it myself. Kyoani would be my first choice of course, but I think P.A Works did a pretty good job with Angel Beats so I wouldn't mind if it was them either. On the other hand, they might not use either and go with White Fox instead, since that was the studio they commissioned to do the second OP sequence for Rewrite.

We already know that kyo-Ani is already going to be busy with Chū-2 Byō Demo Koi ga Shitai!, and they usually don't take on many shows at the same time, only one per year, so in P.A. Works we trust.
