Personally, I'm ambivalent about the prospects for a new season. I thought that the original one was just right. |

| Now, even though the key man isn't involved I still hope for a second season. I think that a second season would be perfect regardless of what it'd be about - New people who are in stuck in the limbo or about the characters now that they have good lives. I also am not gonna look at the key man not being involved as a bad thing yet. If a second season is what it is it'll most likely be different but it might be just as good. Anyways, I'm excited for April 10th now. |

| i don't think it is a second season or anything relating to a anime since their already supposed to announce the little busters anime in the same issue so it would be a little weird announcing two anime at once a new spin off manga is more likely. |

Was thinking the same thing. If Jun is not writing, it wont be as good. I got SUPER excited for this when I saw it and then all that excitement got shot down when I read that. |

But would they really go out of their way to tweet if it was just a manga? It almost makes me think they're gonna do a movie, since I doubt they're doing a second anime season, and they already said it's not a game. It would be crazy if they did anything live-action, though. But with the man who created and wrote the series not on the project, what's the point? I would rather they not do anything more for Angel Beats if that's the case. It'd be like the 4 Eva movie remakes being made without Anno on the staff; it just makes no sense.  |
