Based on the cover art for This Boy Can Fight Aliens, it looks like it should have been titled, This Boy Can Fight Aliens Faaaaabulously!

Which one's the boy?

@WTK: are those August releases of Koihime Musou in bluray (or can you find out)?

I'd double-dip instantly if they were.

I ask because this series was released in bluray in Japan.

If it's just a re-release, meh... already own it.

Looks like K-ON Season 2 is getting released in August as well and it looks like No.6 got a dub, anyone remember hearing a casting announcement about that?

Nothing for me from Sentai in Aug. I'm not in a hurry to get the half sets for K-On!! I can wait until there is a full release, or the half sets come really down in price.

RightStuf has these up for preorder now. Already reserved a copy of K-ON! S2 part 2 blu-ray.

Pre-ordered season two of TWGOK, haven't seen a cast listing though for the season 2 characters though.

It doesn't look like Sentai bothered to get the OVA ep either. Even though they got the little ova preview for season 1.

What Sentai is charging for Koihime is actually hilarious. Laughing

Hilarious as in hilariously cheap? Because the three seasons bought individually had an MSRP of $150. Of course, few people actually pay MSRP, and TRSI has this set priced at $53.99 as opposed to the $89.98 MSRP. Even if you did buy this set at MSRP, it's still cheaper than if you had bought all three seasons from TRSI when they came out, which would have run $112.47. So, it sounds like a bargain to me. Unless there's some inside joke I'm missing here.

Ok, sorry, I'll rephrase it. Repackaging a sub only dvd with shitty subtitles for the same price as a 26 episode dubbed bluray? I just find Sentai's pricing scheme strange sometimes is all.....like 25 bucks for the 25 minute This Boy can Fight Aliens.

Actually, when TRSI first listed Koihime earlier today, they had it listed at $35.99 which was clearly a mistake. Damn! I should have ordered it instantly because TRSI has a policy of honouring its pricing mistakes, I believe.

Looks like I'll be picking up No. 6 this August. I didn't like the ending, but I was glued to the screen during each episode, so I had a fun overall experience with it. Hopefully Amazon will have the listing up soon. :3
