| Gotta give Obata one thing: She always knows when it's time to quit. Her books never overstay their welcome. |

| IIII knew it. Not very happy about what they're doing with Aoki Kou, but it looks like it's time to end. |

I knew it
It's sad, but it goes perfectly in line with what they were saying in the manga after all.
Damn I'm gonna miss it :') |

Uhm, no. Everyone knows that Obata is a guy. I think you are confusing the two authors together. Ohba is the one where it's not 100% certain.
I WANTED TO SEE THEIR KIDS ;A; I hope there is at least some kind of one-shot extra story in the future... or some extra included with the last volume |

Are their doing so bad in the polls? Maybe they want to surpass Oda? Have they grown tired of the series?...
it seems I've read too many times Bakuman... :p
About authors genders, I quote Wiki:
| Wikipedia wrote: | | Bakuman, Volume 2. Inside cover profiles, Ohba's gender was previously unknown to the general public. Bakuman, volume 3- "His current series is Bakuman, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump" |
So, unless it's a typo from Viz, I'd say it's "official" that both Obata & Oba are male. |

Haha, this made me laugh ((in the midst of my despair!))
You will get to know why they are ending it, probably towards the end of volume 19.
Side-note: I honestly can't believe how sad this is making me... I need to get over it... |

Yep I was wrong.v1cious said that Obata knows when to end a story so I immediately thought she referred to writer. |

| So there's ten more volumes of this. Hopefully Viz will crank them out relatively fast. |

Or, you know, it gets canceled a la Hikaru no Go. Luckily it seems that Bakuman was doing well, so that isn't the case here. |

| The first thing that came to mind was: what will SJ Alpha do now that it will only have four main series in a couple weeks? They could "adopt" another one, I guess. Which, I can't really imagine. |
