For some reason, this upcoming anime looks like High School DxD all over again.

I'd have no problems with that. I liked High School DxD. Sounds like the protagonist has it much worse than in that show though.

This would be so awesome if it maneuvered into shounen-ai/yaoi territory because of that.

Would a teenager really see not having to deal with constantly finding every girl he sees attractive as a negative? If he doesn't find them attractive, why would he want to?

also, how convenient for a japanese guy, since he won't be constantly physically assaulted for sexually assaulting women.
