I'm not much of a chick lit person (I've tried a few titles and only like the Devil Wears Prada and Everyone Worth Knowing by Lauren Weisberger), but I'm definitely interested in checking this one out.

Do people actually buy these types of books? Though being a editor is hard and tedious work, is it even worth writing a book about?

I understand editor work isn't easy work, but you don't see books on janitors.

Um, I think it's going to be in the style of The Devil Wears Prada. It's a fictional story about a woman's experience in Japan as a manga editor. It's supposed to be funny and romantic, so I don't think it's going to be tedious. Smile

Except Ultimate Mop Daisuke DX.

I'll look out for this book, I always need something to read.

Too bad the UMD light novel's not been translated yet. Smile

Seriously, though, I've been pretty disappointed by chick lit as a genre but I'll give this one a shot. If nothing else, my inner otaku will get a kick out of it. At least the heroine isn't going to London for once. Smile

I'm not much of a traveler, but London is on my list before I die. Very Happy
