And Pokemon continues to decline. That's probably its worst rating yet.

Fairy Tail's is terrible too. I think even Bleach didn't fall so low.

Pokemon will most likely do better when it goes into the next arc because of the hype of the next games being released in June.

Fairy Tail is in a filler arc, which is one of the worst things ever invented.

Perhaps. I wonder if the box office gross of the upcoming movie will follow the ratings and decline as well.

With the Fairy Tail movie planned this summer they had to continue the anime to promote it. However, with such ratings, cancellation in the few months afterwards is possible.

Fairy Tail's ratings were this low even when it wasn't filler, at the climax of the last arc. This is rather concerning, hopefully the movie will help. Well, at least the two turds are continuing to stink:
0.5% Haiyore! Nyaruko-san
0.5% Sengoku Collection

Its not really looking that good for Fairy Tail... hopefully it'll go back up after the Filler arc and they'll keep it around when its up for renewal in October.

As mentioned before TV ratings rarely matter for late night anime. Nyaruko-san is projected to be one of the best selling shows of the season.

I wonder if most people just record Nyaruko on their DVR and watch it later and Japanese TV ratings don't count DVR recorded shows.

Given that it airs at 2 AM in the middle of the week, I wouldn't be surprised if thats how most of its viewers watch it.

It's a bit odd that they changed the anime's time slot and basically killed its ratings when it had not too bad ones in its previous time slot (I remember it even making the top 10 a few times). Maybe they thought it could do well in a saturday morning time slot. They were obviously mistaking.

You people sure the ratings of Fairy Tail didn't dip just because of Golden Week?

Well, it's not like the 1.4% share it had the week before is decent. It has been pretty consistently poor for a good while now I'd say.
