Well, as a shoujo fan, I'm happy about Black Bird winning and look forward to its US publication because the manga artist has had only one series published in the US and it was a short one. That one has pleasing artwork and a good, if abruptly came about, romance.

I'm glad to finally read a longer series from Kanoko Sakurakoji, and I hope that some of her oneshots are also included as many of them seem interesting, like the one about a pawnshop (pretty unusual setting for a shoujo story).

I'm happy Adachi's manga won too, I'm a huge fan of him and I'm reading the Italian version of Cross Game. ^^
